The Procash 6000 automated teller safe runs on a cash recycling basis that allows financial institutions to provide reliable cash deposit/-dispensing functions in open-plan customers zones. This supports the trend toward flexible branch design. The Procash 6000 is a counter-top model with a high banknote storage capacity but just a small footprint.

Procash 6000 enables financial institutions to eliminate expensive security facilities such as reinforced glass and other bullet-proofing. This increases the flexibility of bank staff by simplifying and accelerating cash transactions, thus giving staff more time to advise customers.

With its closed cash cycle, the Procash 6000 makes sure that deposited banknotes can be used again immediately for dispensing transactions. A counterfeit note detection module stops any forgeries from entering cash cycle. The fact that deposited cash is dispensed again means the time-consuming post-processing of deposit transactions after business hours is no longer necessary.

The amount of cash in the ProCash 6000 can be reduced to a minimum because this system is constantly replenished with deposited money. Tellers can also refill the system with bundled banknotes from the vaults during business hours if necessary. The procash 6000 is operated with either 6 or 8 drum modules that are located in a safe certified in accordance with CEN/VdS 111 or UL 291 Level 1. Cash can also be kept in these certified safes outside business hours. The combination of 4 drum modules, with a maximum capacity of 600 banknotes each, plus either 2 or 4 additional drum modules holding 350 notes each, results in a high total capacity that assures enough leeway even if dispensing transactions heavily outnumber deposits or if there are considerable fluctuations during the day.

Technical data

 The ProCash 6000 meets German UVV security and safety standards. The KM 48 P is used as an interface to connect a robbery alarm system with a direct link to a police emergency call system.

The risk of robbery or potential loss are reduced substantially by the ProCash 6000, because cash stores are not visible. Furthermore, the software ensures that the amount of cash that can be dispensed within a certain period is limited and cannot be influenced by the user.

The electronic lock incorporates a 10-minute delay until the main lock is released - a future required for safes based on German UVV standards. To comply with the principle of double-control, the ProCash 6000 has an additional key-based lock.

Dispensing transactions on the ProCash 6000 can be processed for two tellers simultaneously via output trays on both sides of the system.

The ProCash 6000 features two V.24 ports and can be operated as an independent cash deposit/dispensing system with either one or two PCs.
